Using unique archive footage of locomtives in action in the 1950s and 1960s together with contemporary material of today’s preserved locomotives, this programme shows the variety – from Stroudley “Terriers” to the magnificent Bulleid Pacfics such as “Clan Line”, “Swanage” and “City of Wells”.
